I need to prune my Google Reader this weekend. I've been using it as a big feed dump and I'm not keeping up with half of it. It needs to slim down to a meat and potatoes kinda layout. Websites that update multiple times a day are clogging my 'unread' stats after a mere week. I don't need to feel like I'm not keeping up and usually it's not worth the read anyway.

Java that is. Why is it that some people can brew a pot of grounds and it smells wonderful and others (like the person just outside of my office) create an aroma reminiscent of hot tar mixed with road kill with hints of burnt army men?

This is both a blog post and a reminder to myself that I need to download and save TrueCrypt to my thumb drive. I've heard nothing but good things about this free, opensource program.
